2/8/07 - Well, I'm starting to get cravings for certain foods, and I'm starting to dislike some things I used to love. I have been craving any kind of Mexican food lately. I love nachos, enchiladas, chips and salsa, chimichangas, quesadillas, almost anything Mexican! And, I can't drink Diet Dr. Pepper any more. It tastes like Root Beer to me and I can't stand Root Beer. Oh, and the smell of orange turns my stomach. I used to be able to drink OJ occassionally, but not anymore. The smell alone makes me sick to my stomach.

Also, I found out yesterday that my best friend, Robin Ivy, is having a baby and is due one day after me! I am so excited for her as well. This will be her second so she'll probably actually deliver before me, but at least we get to be prego and go through everything together at the same time! Fun!



1/30/07 - I am in complete awe! We got to see the first glimpse of our baby today! It was incredible!!! I didn't get to hear the heartbeat, but I did get to see it on the sonogram. Be sure to check out the Family Photo Album page to see the sonogram photo. The due date was confirmed for 9/14/07. The baby right now is 1.37cm long and according to the doctor, is doing fine so far.

1/26/07 - Well, I'm 7 weeks today - and morning sickness is really kicking my butt!!! Morning sickness - they should call it ALL DAY sickness! Only 6 more weeks of it to go, and then finally, relief! I have my first appointment next Tuesday, and I get to see my baby for the first time and hear his little heartbeat. How cool is that???

1/8/07 - We just found out! My emotions are all over the place. I can't wait...and at the same time...I'm scared to death! Am I ready to be a mom? Of course I am! There's so much to do before September! What will my belly look like in 9 months????? So much to think about, and yet SO much to be thankful for. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us with this miracle. And thank you, Lord, for allowing me to take part in that miracle!
