3/27/07 - Well, I had another doctor's appointment yesterday afternoon. I wasn't expecting much since the appointments now only take about 10 minutes each time. But when the doctor put the doppler on my stomach to hear the heartbeat again, I also got to hear the baby kick! It was really neat since I hadn't actually felt it move yet.

Later that night, Ben decided to put his ear up to my belly to see if he could hear anything. He said he could hear the baby kicking. I thought, no way! But he said he really could. He said it sounded like the baby was in a bowl of water and was kicking away!

Then this morning, as I was typing an email to mom, dad, and Derek, I actually felt the baby move for the first time! It was awesome. Just a little flutter but it brought tears to my eyes and a HUGE smile to my face. I tell you what, if pregnancy isn't THE most amazing experience this side of heaven, I don't know what is! Oh, and then comes labor!!! Ha!

I've got some pictures of my belly at 14 weeks (I'm 15-1/2 today) but Ben has the camera with him at work, so as soon as I get the pics uploaded I'll add them to the site.

I'm drinking way more water than I ever used to - and it actually tastes good, as long as it's ice cold. And I really like strawberry milk! I still can't bring myself to drink regular milk, but strawberry milk is really good, so I drink that from time to time. I'm not really craving any certain foods anymore. It used to be anything Mexican food, but not anymore. And the morning sickness is gone! Thank the Lord!!! I have had several headaches over the last two weeks, but they seem to be getting fewer and less severe.

I'm really trucking along. My belly is growing. My pre-pregnancy clothes don't fit anymore. I'm actually starting to look pregnant, not just fat. And I love it!
