We had Isaac's 1st birthday party yesterday. It was so much fun. Everyone had a good time. I think Isaac loved it, too.
It was construction themed, so everything had trucks and construction tape on it. The party hats were orange construction cones!
Isaac loved playing with the balloons. We still have the mylar balloon up at the house and every time he sees it, he runs towards it to play.
I really didn't think he would do much with the cake, since he hasn't shown any interest in getting his hands dirty with food when he eats.
Boy, did he prove me wrong...he's just getting started here...
MMMMM...this is good! By the time he was done, he had cake all over his face, hands, arms, shirt (which I know now that I should have taken off BEFORE he ate the cake), seat and tray. It was so cute though! :)
Sometimes playing in the box is just more fun than playing with the toy!
