Christmas 2010, Part 4: Christmas morning

On Christmas Eve, Isaac and I made Russian tea cake cookies for Santa. Then that night, we all gathered around the Christmas tree, and listened as our teddy bear read us The Night Before Christmas. We also read The Story of Christmas, which is a book about the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus' birth.

Then we put three cookies on a plate for Santa, and set out some milk. Isaac went straight to bed, and didn't take long to get to sleep. He was so excited to see what Santa was going to bring while he was sleeping. :)

Santa's been here! He ate the cookies and drank his milk!

And he left us some presents!!!

He brought Isaac a sit-n-spin, some walkie talkies, and a couple seek-and-find books. Isaac likes the sit-n-spin, but it takes some getting used to.

There was also two cars, a motorcycle, three train cars, and some candy in Isaac's stocking. Thanks Santa!!!

Then it was time for presents from us. He got a big truck with camper top and a little man, this kayak that came with a dog and a man...

...and this Play-Doh Fun Factory. He's really had a lot of fun with this one.

Christmas is such a special time of year, and I'm so glad that we get to make memories and create our own family traditions with Isaac.
