Christmas 2010, Part 2: Quinn-Culpepper Family

Christmas at Dad's was great. My brother and his wife, Julie, met us there a little early so we could have our Christmas with Dad before Mary's kids all got there. Isaac loves his gifts from his Papa and G.

Then Mary's kids all got there and we had our 2nd annual Quinn-Culpepper Family of Awesomeness white elephant gift exchange. There is one gift that gets passed around each year, a horned toad figurine. If you happen to be the one to get him (Eduardo) during the exchange, you must keep him. He can't be stolen. The one who gets Eduardo must take him on adventures during the next year, and must take at least 2 pictures with him to log his adventures with the rest of the family. I got Eduardo this year. I'll be sending him to school with Isaac for a picture once. The other picture(s) will have to be determined later. :)

Later in the day, Dad donned his Santa costume (thanks Dad!) and came to the front door to surprise the kids. Isaac opened the front door to find Santa ho-ho-ho-ing. He had a huge smile on his face! He was so excited!

When he got to sit down with Santa, he told him he wanted "all kinds of things." He sure took his time with Santa. He didn't want to get down.

Santa told him that he needed to be good and eat all his food (he hadn't eaten his lunch earlier). Then it was Kayla's turn. She screamed and cried, scared to death of Santa. At one point, Isaac got right in her face and as nicely as could be, said "You have to be good for Santa!" Ha! Lilly was next. She was a champ. Just looked at Santa like a weirdo, endured the picture taking and quietly went back to her mom and dad.

Papa and G with all their combined grandkids, Lilly, Kayla, and Isaac. Isaac was being a wiggle worm, so Papa had to hold him up by the pants to keep him still! Next year there will be two more babies in the photo - baby girl Culpepper and baby *still to be determined* Quinn.

The whole Quinn-Culpepper family. Aren't we a good-looking bunch?!
